What are LED Flood Lights?
Floodlights guide a beam of light to illuminate a larger place or area, usually as bright as daylight. They can have a wide range of light, such as street lights or stadium lights or wider beams, such as stage or performance lights.

Energy Cost Savings
Installing and operating outdoor lighting fixtures such as an LED Flood light saves a significant amount of energy over time. These brighter light sources provide more lumens per watt - that is, every watt consumed by the light fixture - than non-LED lights. When LED Flood lights are manufactured, they are put through extensive testing. LED lights, in general, can last up to 50,000 hours without failure. Selecting Wattage for LED Flood Lights
Low Wattage (15-40 Watts)
Low-wattage floodlights are usually ideal for illuminating footpaths or doorways that require small, but frequent light. These lights often provide plenty of light for residential areas or very tiny areas around commercial buildings.
Mid Wattage (40-80 Watts)
Mid-wattage lights operate within the range of 40-90 watts. They are perfect for illuminating areas such as small yards, gardens or driveways with moderate brightness.
High Wattages (100 Watts or more)
Once the power reaches triple-digit wattage, the flood lights are considered "high wattage." They are necessary for applications such as parking lot lighting, roadways, and other municipal or commercial lighting needs.
Flood vs. Spot Lighting
Flood lights emit more light than spotlights and have a larger beam angle of up to 120 degrees. By comparison, LED Flood lights are larger and less sensitive than spotlights which are small and compact.
LED Flood lights have a greater range than its counterpart, spotlights, which provide a tight "spot" of light (reaching up to 45-degrees).
Spotlights produce narrow beams that are intended to draw attention to a specific location.
